By placing an order for bridal or formal wear, scheduling appointments, or using our services, you (“you”, “client”, “customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Services & Orders

1.1. We offer bridal gowns, formal wear, alterations, custom orders, accessories, and related services.
1.2. All orders are subject to availability. Some gowns or items may be discontinued or have limited stock.
1.3. Custom orders and special orders (orders for dresses not currently in stock or requiring custom tailoring) may require additional time. We will provide estimated timelines at time of order. Rush orders may incur additional fees.

2. Appointments & Fittings

2.1. Clients should arrive on time for scheduled appointments. Delays may reduce available fitting time.
2.2. Alterations and fittings are scheduled separately from dress selection unless otherwise agreed.
2.3. Clients must bring undergarments, shoes, or accessories for fittings to ensure proper fit, where applicable.

3. Payments, Deposits & Pricing

3.1. A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm orders, fittings, or custom work. The deposit amount will be stated at time of booking or order.
3.2. Final balance is due prior to delivery or pick-up, or as agreed in your order invoice. We may refuse delivery or release of items until full payment is received.
3.3. Prices listed are in U.S. Dollars and include applicable Hawaii sales tax, unless stated otherwise. Prices, promotions, and offers are subject to change without notice.

4. Alterations & Customizations

4.1. Alteration work is done based on your specifications. We are not responsible for prior body changes (e.g., weight gain/loss) after final fitting.
4.2. Additional alteration fees may apply for changes outside originally agreed-upon specifications.
4.3. Clients approve final fitting before pick-up; after the customer takes possession, we are not responsible for further adjustment costs.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

5.1. Due to the nature of bridal/formal wear, most dresses and accessories are final sale. Returns or exchanges are only possible where allowed by state law, and with prior approval.
5.2. Special/custom orders and customizations are non-refundable once work has commenced or fabric has been ordered.
5.3. If you cancel your order before any custom work or alteration is started, you may be subject to a cancellation fee (to cover cost of materials or work already underway).

6. Late Fees & Non-Pickup

6.1. Items not picked up within a specified time after the final fitting or after full payment may incur storage or late fees.
6.2. We will notify you in writing when your order is ready. If you fail to collect within 30 days of notice, we reserve the right to consider the order abandoned; you may lose deposit and/or additional fees may apply.

7. Privacy & Personal Information

7.1. We collect personal information (name, contact, measurements, etc.) necessary to fulfill services. We will not share your personal data with third parties for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.
7.2. We may use contact information for appointment reminders, updates, or promotional offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Photos & Media Release

8.1. By agreeing to use our services, you grant Vows Bridal & Formals permission to photograph and/or video you wearing our garments (at showroom, during fittings, or other shop-related contexts). You agree that we may use such media for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes without compensation unless otherwise negotiated in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. We will take reasonable care in handling your items and providing services, but we are not liable for damage caused by use beyond reasonable wear or misuse.
9.2. Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific item or service in question.
9.3. We shall not be liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, or other events outside our control.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

10.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.
10.2. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hawaii.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
